the memory keeper's daughter

the memory keeper’s daughter by kim edwards.

i finally read this after several people nagged me about it. it was okay. but honestly, i cared more about caroline’s life than i did about david and norah’s and the book mostly focused on them. also “redemptive power of love” was in lots of reviews and the bcc. i really hate that shit. it prejudices me agains the book. and no one really seemed to have been redeemed. perhaps reviewers need to learn the meaning of the word?

what was this book? the one about the woman who raises the mentally retarded girl?

this book was the shittiest shittiest book i had read in a very long time. who the EF are making publishing decisions and why dont I have a publisher? i mean...come on?! a story based entirely on pathos...sooooo lame. my could write something better while drunk, using my broken foot to do the writing. seriously this book pissed me off. i mean, publishers, editors, COME ON!!

“literature.”

F that. where literature in this country is headed is a very sad state of affairs.

seriously.

the 17 year old girl at barnes and nobles hawking this shit so called literature could write a more compelling story in sharpee on her converse shoe.
